This project I did with the kids in my photography class at Heart of Los Angeles (non-profit).In the Bridges photography class, the young photographers got hands on experience on a photo shoot working with the HOLA music students in the rock band. Along with myself the students saw the different aspects of putting a shoot together which included stylists, hairdressers, makeup artists, an art director, as well the many assistants that it sometimes requires. Even more, the young photographers were able to shoot their fellow HOLA students in the band with full lighting equipment that was generously donated by Samy’s camera.
